Purpose:
The purpose of this assessment is to see what students have learned about the most common elements on the periodic table. Further research investigations will educate the students on more complex characteristics of the elements. Following the research, the student will develop a Powerpoint presentation of the information learned about their element. The presentation will be given by the student during class.

Assessment:
Complete all required information on the fact sheet. All information provided on the fact sheet must be cited in a reference section. A minimum of three sources are required.
Finally, you will develop a PowerPoint presentation of the information contained within the fact sheet. A minimum of 10 slides are required, including title slide and reference slide, for your presentation.
